"Rich yellow walls and plenty of ethnic artefacts give this Persian/Middle Eastern restaurant on the Edgware Road a cheerful disposition and in summer time the appeal is further enhanced by the opportunity to dine al fresco, in the very pleasant garden area. The standard mezze dishes are both fresh and delicious from the chickpea and aubergine based dips and excellent olives, followed by a good selection of grilled meats that benefit in both flavour and texture from their long, slow marinating process. What's more the name of the restaurant is taken from its specialist clay oven of the same name, that functions to ensure the bread is first class. Unlicensed, but you can bring your own, there is no corkage charge."
